A Melcher-Dallas resident was transported to Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Tuesday evening, following a deer-car crash south of Knoxville on highway 14, with non-life threatening injuries. The Marion County Sheriffs Office reports Joseph James Provenzano was northbound on Highway 14 when his vehicle struck a deer in the roadway.
